An economic solution (in some cases)

Contrary to what one might think, car rental can often be an economical solution. Except in countries such as Iceland or Kenya where rental prices are staggering, you can increasingly find very competitive rates for car hire.

If you are many, do the calculation quickly and you will realize that it is not necessarily a more expensive solution than public transport.

Also remember that buses will drop you off at the bus station and train to the station and then you will have to pay a taxi or other means to get to your accommodation. With your car, you go in the right direction ... ;-).

A comfortable means of transport

Even if some means of transport can guarantee you some funny situations from time to time you will keep memories of them, they are not always very comfortable and you will have to undergo the incivility of some.

For example, I remember a journey by train from 5pm to travel 700km in Vietnam to the cheapest class where we were crowded like sardines on very hard tiny wooden benches surrounded by Vietnamese very friendly for some. Others, on the other hand, had the sickness of transport, and did not hesitate to vomit on the ground. At nightfall, ras were wandering in the wagons: today I laugh and do not necessarily have bad memories but I had found the long time. With a car rental, this kind of situation is avoided.
